A lot has changed lately – we are now welcoming a wider range of types and candidates for several internship positions including Business Interns & (new) Project Management/Coordination Interns at Microsoft Bangladesh, which is a wholly owned subsidiary of Microsoft.

Developer Interns

Responsibilities: Meet customers and exercise SDLC in building challenging Windows 8/Phone apps. Share knowledge and experience with the technical community.
Duration: Minimum 3 months
Eligibility: BSc/MSc student in Computer Science & Engineering or equivalent from institutions preferably which give credits for internship
Desired Qualities:
1) Expert C# coder
2) Superior problem solving skills
3) Excellent command in English in all forms of presentation
Timeframe: We are now accepting applications all through the year.

Business Interns

Responsibilities: Meet customers, win partnerships. Manage developer events and run app development initiatives.
Duration: Minimum 3 months
Eligibility: BBA/MBA student or equivalent from institutions preferably which give credits for internship
Desired Qualities:
1) Superior command in business English in all forms of communication
2) Incredible at communication, conducting business meetings and follow-ups
3) Courageous, smart and ready enough for a real-world exposure.
Timeframe: We are now accepting applications all through the year.

Project Management/Coordination Interns (new)

Responsibilities: Maintain a large community both online and offline. Manage developer events and run app development initiatives. Take total ownership of the projects.
Duration: Minimum 3 months
Eligibility: CSE/BBA/MBA student or equivalent from institutions preferably which give credits for internship
Desired Qualities:
1) Multitasker, super pro-active, smart, takes ownership and full responsibility of projects
2) Incredible at English communication in all forms, conducting business meetings and follow-ups
3) Ability to manage distributed source code repositories and breakdown scope of work into tasks
Timeframe: We are now accepting applications all through the year.
