Scholarships for Female students from University Grant Comission

As approved by the Ministry of Education Nepal, University Grant
Comission today announced Scholarships for female students reading in
Universities/Campuses. All the female students are informed to apply
for scholarships in the campus/University they are currently enrolled
and reading.
Girls Scholarships program gives 10,000 per year to selected students annually.

UGC has not made clear in the above Notice that the application for
Girls Scholarships is now open. But Girls Scholarship program is a
regular program of UGC so for more information visit the website of
University Grant Comission or contact your college.

Important notes
- Female students who have been enrolled in Universities/Campuses in the academic year of 2070 can give the application.
- Only the female students who are reading in the University/College (constituent or affiliated college) who is receiving the grant issued by University Grant Comission are eligible for application.
- Two types of scholarships scheme are available: Merit based and scholarships for reserve groups.
- One candidate can apply for the scholarships in only one scheme.
- Students can get the application form and other relevant information from the campus they are currently studying.
