Photo contest: “a day in the life of a health worker"
The Global Health Workforce Alliance is pleased to announce a photo competition for its upcoming Third Global Forum on Human Resources for Health.
Professional and non-professional photographers worldwide are invited to participate in a photo contest under the theme“a day in the life of a health worker.” The contest aims to raise awareness of the importance of all cadres of health workers, who save lives every day, despite difficult conditions and inadequate resources. We believe that photos “in action” will reinforce health messages, and will present information in a visually interesting format, which will go a long way in influencing attitudes.
We’ve been experiencing troubles receiving some of the entries for the HRH photo competition. If you submitted photos larger than 10 Mb, we kindly ask that you resubmit them one by one in a lower resolution and size of no more than 9 Mb.Deadline for submission of entries will be extended to Friday 30 August 2013.
