The current round for applications has been opened and will close on 30 September 2013. For Target Group 1, only applications from candidates from the following institutions are invited for this round: Mekelle University, University of Dar es Salaam and the University of Nairobi. For Target Group 2, applicants may come from any African country that is not included in the TRECCAfrica partnership.

Target Group 1 Applications

1.Start your application for the TRECCAfrica Fulltime Masters scholarship: download and complete the TRECCAfrica Target Group 1 PDF document (on the right) and return with all the supporting documents (as stipulated in the application form) to treccafrica@sun.ac.za.
   
CV Guidelines can be found on the right to assist you in drafting your Curriculum Vitae.
   
2. In the application form, view the list of institutions for which you qualify,  according to your Home Institution.
   
3. Once the application is received, it will be screened for eligibility and then forwarded to the proposed host institutions.
   
4. The TRECCAfrica Local Evaluation Board of each host institution will rank and make a final selection based on merit and gender representation.
   
5. Successful candidates will  be informed that they have been awarded the scholarship. The remaining candidates will be placed on a waiting list.
   
6. Applicants must simultaneously apply directly to the institution of choice for admission to the Master’s programme of choice, and would therefore have to bear institution application deadlines in mind. Successful candidates of the TRECCAfrica scholarship will be reimbursed for any moneys spent in application fees to institutions.
