A special gift and a most prestige event this year is back to greet all student in Indonesia and all country around it. The gift is packed with greatness in a chain of event, Arjuna 2013 (Ajang Kreativitas Jurnalistik Mahasiswa).
Arjuna 2013 is back with a different package this year. The greatness history from the past becomes our greatest motivation to provide a place for creativity, in this case for skills of journalism creativity, for youth to explore and regain its muse from inside.
Arjuna 2013 provides a pack of great competitions. This is not just a competition. Arjuna 2013 splits the competiitons in two types. Essay competition and Photo-Essay Competition. Arjuna 2013 is packed to challenge the hidden potention from all college students in Southeast Asia to join and participate in case of self preparation to face the future challenges right in front of their eyes.
The issue that is uprised in this occasion is a central issue that became a trending topic in society structure. The Social Media and information acceleration as a real derivate from information technology development has its own role on the development of global community behaviour.
Through the essay masterpiece, brilliant ideas and responses as well as active in response to social phenomena is needed to produce an analysis of cases and issues of interest and real. Furthermore, the moments of structural change in society behavior patterns need to be observed and interpreted. Through photographic masterpieces, photos are presented in the form of photo essays need to be made in such a way to capture the moment and the phenomena that occur in the community. With the collaboration of these two masterpieces, we can design and plan how our lives in the future. Maybe 10 to 15 years.
What should be completed by the global community in celebrating the digital era in the future? this case needs to be listened by the society so the wisdoms of locale not fade and disappear by colonialisation of technology development

General Terms & Condition
- Competitor is an active student who are domiciled or residing in Southeast Asia region.
- Competitor is an individual independent person or a representative of an institution / university that is located in Southeast Asia region.
- Competitor had never been presented or published all of his work in any other competition and the work must be an original work.
- The submission of essay and photo essay start from August 1st to September 29th 2013
- Each work that is contested does not contain any elements of racial intolerance, violence or offensive to any hand or certain groups.
- Each work that is submitted must be in accordance with the requirements determined, if its not, it will immediately disqualified on the first phase of selection before being assessed by the jury.
- The jury’s decision is final.
- 18 best works, 9 essays and 9 photo essays will be presented in front of the jury at the International Discussion Forum
