This year the 2013 Summit will run alongside New Zealand Recreation Association's Annual National Conference, and enables us to explore recreation "from the front door to the great outdoors". On the second day there will be a combined plenary examining the themes of; the value of recreation / the outdoors, Recreation in Te ao Maori, Young Professionals – the new generation of industry leaders, Innovation – community recreation.

A combined delegation in excess of 450 professionals working in the recreation sector across New Zealand and Australia are expected to attend.
