UOW National Leadership Conference 2013

Change is coming! We’ve got the speakers, the venue is booked and now we need you! We want to inspire, train and develop the next generation of dynamic and enthusiastic young leaders as changemakers within our society, and we cannot do this without you!
Students and young people from across Australia will come together to raise money for the Oaktree Foundation, whilst exploring personal and professional leadership ideas at the Students 4 Students (S4S) National Leadership Conference over the weekend of 28th- 29th September 2013.
In its 7th year, this annual conference is run by a team of dedicated student volunteers under the auspices of the Australian Student Leadership Association. Chiefly, it aims to provoke thought, discussion and challenge perceptions through stimulating keynote speakers, engaging workshops and networking opportunities.
The theme of this year’s conference is centred on the ability to implement, promote and encourage “Change” in all aspects of life. Our speakers and presenters include Jon Dee (Planet Ark, Do Something!), Viv Benjamin (The Oaktree Foundation), Michael Laverty (Tropfest), Andrew McLeod (Business leader, author, speaker) and the list goes on! The conference concludes with a gala dinner on the Sunday evening with all proceeds from the dinner and other fundraising efforts being donated to Australia’s first and largest youth-run anti-poverty organisation, the Oaktree Foundation.
As a national leadership conference for students, by students, we require student leaders from across Australia to participate. With your assistance, we would like to promote our not-for-profit conference to young leaders on your website. I have composed a blurb of the event (see below) for your use.
Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or concerns!
